in cyberspace i'm famed for sacking
i'll soldier on though i am lacking...
i'm definately the chess king
for i will gambit anything!
when i position my attack
i hope the resources i lack
are barely noticed by my foe
to brutal endgame i must go
without a plan that's sensible
winning shall be a miracle!
they laughed when i sat down to play
but next year wonder what they'll say
i'm confident! i show no fear!
i'll win the 'chess game of the year'!
games aren't won by brawn or might
you have to have the will to fight!
maybe.... that rook i dropped won't be
a clear catastrophe for me ...
the knight he pinned three moves ago
might get unpinned for all i know ...
those doubled pawns on h and d
might turn out to be good for me ...
the king uncastled now has wings to
battle in the thick of things ...
that hemmed in bishop on the flank
might end up on the proper rank...
though rook and queen lack space and reach
they're in control of one space each!
when i lack courage i confess
man's never done so much with less!
